Friends Of Watton School

The Friends of Watton School have been established for over 30 years, which is quite an achievement for a small village school. In recent years we have enjoyed great success by raising more than £13,000.00 for the school which of course is all attributable to the help and support you give us.

We raise funds for items that the school budget does not normally stretch to by organising fun events for parents, children and families throughout the year including quiz nights, discos, Christmas bazaars, Easter Egg hunts, themed events and accessories, and so much more.

Friends of Watton School have been able to support the development of our children by providing play equipment, the latest numeracy scheme, interactive white boards for all class rooms, new sports kits and by helping out at many events. We would not be able to do this without the generosity and support of the events we organise by you and your family.

We are always looking for more parents to join the committee or helpers list in order for us to raise more money for the school and would welcome your input and ideas.
If you are interested in joining the Friends of Watton please contact either Clare Serafinowicz at

Thank you.

Here are some of the exciting things that Friends of Watton have funded over the years. They include the smartboards and book corners in each classroom, the train and boat in the playground and the overhead projector in the main hall...

The Poppy Appeal this year raised £247.22.

This year the children came to school on Children in Need day dressed in yellow items of clothing. Thank you to the generosity of our parents and carers as we were able to raise £212.57. Thank you everyone.
